Welcome to Georgia! Your transfer from TBS awaits for a smooth ride to your hotel in Tbilisi. Enjoy some free time before 5 pm, then meet in the hotel lobby with our leader and ask any questions you may have. Afterward, a short evening walk through the atmosphere of Old Town Tbilisi’s illuminated landmarks, lively narrow streets, and stories of the capital. Join a delicious welcome group dinner “supra” together. It’s a great chance to get to know each other and fellow travelers a little, this is going to be special.

Leave Tbilisi behind and travel to Stepantsminda via Georgian Military road. First stop at 6th-century Jvari Monastery.  This UNESCO-listed masterpiece boasts stunning hilltop views overlooking Georgia’s ancient capital, Mtskheta, at the confluence of two rivers. On the way stop at small fortress Ananuri famous with views, towers and two churches of unique monumental paintings and facade decorations, also on the way enjoy cooking master class of mountain food, enjoying breathtaking sceneries, and at the evening hike to Gergeti Trinity Church from Stepantsminda.

Wake up, adventurers! Today, you’ll conquer the breathtaking Chaukhi Pass, a trek connecting Khevsureti and Kazbegi. Prepare for stunning and dramatic scenery as you ascend past 3,300 meters towards the pristine Abudelauri Lakes.

Good morning, we are beyond the high passes, It’s Khevsureti, A remote majestic region steeped in ancestral traditions and unbridled beauty. Here, the proud Khevsur people uphold the customs of their warrior ancestors, their songs echoing through deep, dramatic valleys. Region bordering sovereignty fighting republics Chechnya and Ingushetia. After exploring Shatili we drive towards Telavi, where ancient wine traditions await you. Time to get to know Zaza and his studio for craft qvevri. Kveri is a jar to ferment wine in large clay vessels which are buried underground. After a workshop and tasting of homemade spirits, we’ll visit another local winery.  Your day culminates with a delicious supper amidst the vineyards. Tonight, foodies will savor an abundance of homemade Georgian dishes paired with unique natural wines.

Today´s journey has beautiful landscapes with valleys, mountains and lake. Our first Georgian stop is Sighnaghi, a cozy historical town perched atop a hill, offering stunning views of the Alazani Valley and the Greater Caucasus Mountains. Venture further into the Dedoplistskaro region towards Sagarejo, where stunning scenery unfolds at every turn.Explore the semi-desert wonders of Vashlovani Protected Area, home to the Takhti Tepha and Kilakupra mud volcanoes. Discover the hidden gem of the Sabereebi cave monastery complex, a testament to resilience in this unique landscape. Tonight, rest and recharge in the village of Udabno.

Wake up, adventure lovers! Embark on an unforgettable horseback ride towards the Udabno Monastery and experience the magic of a desert sunrise. Explore Georgia’s vibrant Udabno region, renowned for its volcanic landscapes and the ancient David Gareja Monastery Complex. After marveling at the colorful hills, return to Udabno for breakfast.

Continue your journey towards Javakheti, known as the historic southern region of the Georgian Medieval Kingdom, Here, castles and monasteries still hold an enormous cultural and historical legacy. Immerse yourself in a diversity of Armenian, Azerbaijani, Georgian, and old German villages along the way. Enjoy a scenic stop at Paravani Lake and the medieval Poka Monastery before reaching your final destination: the breathtaking Vardzia cave complex, where you can uncover its secrets with your guide.

Delve into the rich heritage of Georgia’s Medieval Kingdom with a morning exploring hidden gem monasteries, Zarzma and Sapara. Marvel at their intricate frescoes and uncover captivating stories of Georgian history.

Ascend into the mountains of Adjara, a unique region where diverse religious communities coexist in harmony. Immerse yourself in the culinary traditions of Adjara with a cooking class, mastering the flavors of regional dishes and savoring local wines.

Enjoy a leisurely morning in Batumi! Explore at your own pace, go shopping, relax on the beach, or immerse yourself in the diverse flora of the Batumi Botanical Garden.

As the day progresses, journey north towards breathtaking landscapes of high mountains and winding rivers. Marvel at the engineering feat of the Enguri Dam before venturing into the heart of the Svaneti region. Tonight, soak up the idyllic scenery and unwind in the charming village of Mazeri.

Today ́s stage has beautiful high mountain scenery. Don´t forget your winter clothes, we climb to one of the most spectacular spots in Svaneti. Alright fellow travellers it’s time to hit the trail. We’re gonna hike (moderate) from Mazeri village to the glorious and powerful Shdugra waterfall,  and see the majestic beauty of Mount Ushba. After our thrilling trek, enjoy a well-deserved free evening and dinner in the heart of Mestia.

Open the window of your room and drink in the incredible view. Today we enjoy stunning mountain landscapes while crossing the Caucasus Mountains passes. Prepare for an invigorating hike along the trail from Adishi to Iprali, where breathtaking landscapes await at every turn. It promises to be an unforgettable experience.

Today’s journey by car continues to Ushguli, the highest permanently inhabited village in Europe. Feeling extra adventurous? Today is your chance to ascend to the glacier of Shkhara mountain, aka ‘the 3rd Top of Europe’.  With plenty of time to lust over mountain views, walk alone in narrow streets, climb Queen Tamar Castle, visit medieval churches in Ushguli, or delve into the Ethnographic Museum, which keeps ancient customs and traditions of Svaneti, before returning to Mazeri.

In the morning, last breath of fresh mountain air in Svaneti and bounce to your seat, today we are going to the stunning canyons of Imereti and Samegrelo.  Upon arrival at Martvili Canyon, we’ll savor the flavors of Megrelia with a delightful lunch at a small family-owned winery, indulging in local dishes and natural wines. Venture onward to the breathtaking Okatse Canyon before settling into our cozy winery guesthouse for the night.

Look forward to more Georgian adventures! After driving to the east part of Georgia though Rikoti, we will stop at 9th century church Ubisa, enjoy lunch in a nearby area and continue our journey to the Shida Kartli, optional stop in Gori. Here, you can choose to visit the Museum of Joseph Stalin (visit is an optional, due to its controversial nature), an infamous figure in Georgian history. 

Our next stop is the Ateni Gorge known for its lush fruit orchards, rich history, and cliffside vineyards. Here we will visit a small local winery to taste some home made wines and see the oldest cellar in that village. Your day culminates at a family-owned winery guest house nestled amidst the vineyards and the 7th-century Ateni Church.  Tonight, foodies will feast on delicious homemade dishes paired with local natural wines.

The morning starts with a comprehensive tour through the Uplistsikhe Cave complex, an ancient city carved into the sandstone cliffs. After a guided tour, we’ll  travel along a scenic countryside road to Mtskheta, Georgia’s ancient capital. Explore this beautiful town with your expert guide, admire the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, browse souvenir shops, and relax with a coffee. Capture memorable photos before returning to Tbilisi, where your journey concludes.

Breakfast in a hotel. Pick up in the hotel by your Driver and transfer to Tbilisi airport according to your flight departure time. Usually 3 hours before the flight.
